Sweet: I love Fear Mongering!

Since I haven’t mentioned that the world (and us, by association) are doomed lately, I thought I’d share this little gem, sent to me by a co-worker:

Has Sarah Palin Been Picked as the Titular Head of the Coming Police State?

Basically, Sarah Palin is the forthcoming puppet president of a cabal bent on controlling American through fear. Sounds like severe haircut lady from Cory Doctorow‘s book Little Brother (which you can download for free under the Creative Commons licenses)

A friend pointed me to an article in the Huffington Post today that included a video clip with her closest friends discussing politics. 3 out of 4 of them refused to say who they were voting for. Also, they revealed Sarah Palin hates cats. Damning evidence if I ever heard it. Also included at the end of the clip is a bit where Palin says the war in Iraq was “from God”. Thanks for the news flash, I thought it was from some guy we didn’t elect with a daddy complex.

I’m sure Democrats have done similar, but the double standards and hypocrisy shown by Karl Rove, Bill O’Reilly and the rest of the conservative pundits in this clip is astounding. No one could have such a rapid change of heart if they honestly believed the words they were uttering…
